I am not intuitive about machinery. Back in '99, Holly left me with her bread machine. It didn't have a users manual, and I'd never used a bread machine. I was also a bit of a snob about it -- I'd rather make *real* bread.
When Mike moved in with Dawn and Jerry, he was introduced to the wonder of bread machines, and the last time he was home, he brought ours out of the pantry, cleaned off eight years of dust, and made some bread.
It was lovely! I am truly smitten. This morning I woke to a loaf I put in last night -- whole wheat with oats, and mixed dried berries (raisins, blueberries, cranberries, cherries) with a bit of ginger.
*mmmmmmm*
