Girl stuff
Apr. 15th, 2009 11:36 amI've had low level migraines and ouchy boobs for the last two weeks. I think that the fact that I have no control over this is what is most irritating. We had a very interesting discussion in PY441 yesterday about an experiment where a researcher implanted a probe into the brain of a Rhesus Macaque, accessing a single neuron -- and was successful in training the monkey to fire off that one neuron. The implications of this is that humans should be able to train themselves to control any brain function, including hormone imbalance. The professor suggested that this training could be started at a very young age. Bene Gesserit, anyone?
