This has been a challenging week. On top of the drama with Jerome, I was mandated on Saturday night and worked from 6 am until 11 pm -- then had to get up at 5am on Sunday and work another 12. Thank god for Chris' aide, who stayed and put Chris and the kids to bed, because I got home at 7pm and collapsed. The only thing wrong with falling to sleep at 7pm is that I woke up, wide awake, at 4 am. Oh well.

I have today off, work an 8 hour shift on Tues, and then have Wednesday and Thursday off. Then a new work week starts.

Today, Chris' Community Mental Health social worker is coming over to get papers signed. We get most of Chris' aide's hours paid for through CMH -- Chris gives his aides an additional $3/hr out of his social security check, so they can be paid nearer to what most aides are paid.

We still haven't heard from Jerome. I'm going to get all of his stuff boxed/bagged up today and tomorrow Mike is going to run it over to him.

So I need to pick up and vacuum this morning after I get the kids up and ready for school, and after the worker leaves, I'll see what Chris wants to do. I need to get some groceries. What should I make for supper tonight? I think I'll go Midwest, with meatloaf, baked potato wedges and steamed broccoli.

And while the meatloaf bakes, I'll start getting all of Jerome's stuff together, throw in some laundry, and scrub down the bathroom.

Edit: Aaaand it's a snow day! Looks like we've got 4"-5" so far.
