A bit headachy today and feeling the fey curl up around my edges. It's kindof hard to think.

Still, I just sent off a scene to towersofgrey, all bare and skeletony but with the knee bone connected well enough to the thigh bone. He'll work his magic on it.

I'm feeling all endish today. I put my app in for the LPN program, and the dept head said that it looks like I'm in -- they still have to run the numbers, but my grades are, if not fabulous, at least not bad. I'm hoping for a 3.0 this semester, but really, I have no idea. Then, I just have five credit to go on my minor, I think, and I'll be done with the BS. It feels very weird to be so close to completion.

I've never been good at crossing the finish line.

Lisa, that last comment...yeah. My dearest Lisa, *please* don't let resistance get you--that's when it hits hardest--when you're near completion!

It took me almost exactly 20 years to get my bachelor's degree. It feels so good to finally get that diploma, though, sort of in the vein of childish glee.

I framed mine in a thick gold-gilded frame with a wide blue suede matting, behind the no-gloss glass (like the Declaration of Independence). My degree is from Middle Tennessee State Univ. but in the frame it looks like it could be from Yale ;-)
