ljgeoffWell, I thought that Borderwar started tomorrow - but it doesn't open until Friday. Good. I've got an extra day to work on garb,
We should arrive at the site on Friday, around 1pm (I hope). We'll need to set up camp, which will take an hour for the tents and kitchen. Then I want to dig a cold pit -- I want to try this, and see how it works.
Friday's dinner:
grilled chicken, grilled asparagas, breads, red cabbage sauteed in butter, and a salad of apples, pears and walnuts.
Saturday:
B'fast -- hot cakes with jam and syrup, bacon and sausage
Lunch -- sandwiches
Dinner -- corned beef, boiled with cabbage and rutabaga, with a dessert of fruit fritters.
Sunday: Breakfast of oat porridge, toast and eggs, bacon and sausage.
Then we will all roll home!
