that was interesting
Dec. 21st, 2007 01:59 pmMy lower ball joint came apart as I was driving on the highway. Fortunately, it was on the business corridor where the speed limit is lower. Fortunate too, that no one slammed into my back end.
-- digression -- I've been picking up q-tips from all over the house. No one has fessed up to throwing q-tips around. But Shadowcat just stalked by with one hanging from her mouth, stopped to throw it up in the air and pat at it, grabbed it up again and trotted upstairs with it. I wonder where she's getting them from? -- end digression --
I was on my way to the book store to get the last of the presents. They were holding them for me until today: Martin's "A Game of Thrones", Kushner's "The Privilege of the Sword", Gemmell's "Sword in the Storm" and Eddings' "Pawn of Prophecy".
I don't work today and other than the books, I don't have anything else I have to do. I'm really tired and my brain isn't working well. Luke wants to make cookies, but I think I have to have a nap first. I work tomorrow, but I can take the bus there, and I think my mom or dad will give me a ride home. My dad might loan me his beater for getting back and forth on Sunday. Mike will be home Sunday night and I'm pretty sure we have the parts we need in the garage. I don't work Monday, and in any case, Mike's car will be here.
