ljgeoffMy son's gf went in for an ultrasound a week ago, and I got to come along. I've only ever seen those when I was on the table, so it was pretty cool to get up close to the monitor.
The baby is 22 weeks, now -- very active and all the parts seem to be in the right place. Everyone wanted to know the sex, but it's still a little early for that. The tech said that she'd give it an 80% chance of male.
There is a fine tradition in my family of naming our children from our favorite characters. After our last Doctor Who Night, which featured The Empty Child and The Doctor Dances, they've decided on "Jack" -- a fine name, even though it isn't "Miles."
