We had a good day at the coffee shop, up 35% from last Sunday -- and, overall, each day has been 20%-30% higher than that day in the previous week. I have no loans out, and I'll be able to pay all of my bill next month.

I'm feeling pretty good.

It sounds like there's a fair amount of number crunching to do, with keeping track of the till. Easier with just you, I guess. How does balancing the books for the shop compare with balancing the books for the household?

I'm really quite good at balancing the books. Where I fail at, with the home budget, is that there is simply not enough money to pay for everything that we need. Not just want. Need.

So I have to make choices. And sometimes (ha!) I let my gut have it's way, eh? There is getting throug life, and there is living. I've always been the living type. Not very practical sometimes, me.

This sounds like a great business for you! You get to use your people skills and your organizational skills, and it sounds like you're having fun. Can you imagine doing it for a long time?
