I've been working a lot of hours this week. When I walked in the door tonight, there were two tvs going in the living room -- Kyle gaming at something, Steve-The-Guy giving unasked for advice over his shoulder, and Fred watching The Empire Strikes Back (again)-- and three other guys grouped around the two desktops in the library. A general "Lisa's home! ... Hey, Lis ..." went around, and then Josh, at one of the desktops started to thump his feet and hands: Thump-Thump-Wham, Thump-Thump-Wham! None of the kids there were mine, and I had to laugh.

I stomped my feet to the beat and started yelling out Buddy, you're a boy/ make a big noise/ Playin in the street/ gonna be a big man some day!/ You got mud on your face!/ You big disgrace!/ Kickin your can all over the place - singin'

And all six boys yelled out We will, We will, Rock You! (Wham! Thump-Thump Wham!) We will, We will, ROCK YOU!

A wookie roared in the background and I went up to bed. "Keep it down, yous guys! I gotta work in th' mornin', eh?"

"G'night! ... 'Night, Lis'"

Mike just called to say that he and the boys are gaming (D&D) over at Michael's. Holy Wah, I'm beat. Time for bed.
