Instead of Photographs

ljgeoffI love the picture meme going 'round, but I'm rubbish at photography, so I thought I'd post word pictures, instead.
I've talked about Fred a bit. He's been living with us off and on. He's a big, happy lug of a guy -- 19 yrs old and a bit slow, but funny and sweet.
I was sitting here in the shop and could hear Luke's laugh come in with the summer air. Looking out my window and across the back field, they were there, Luke up on Fred's shoulders and Fred stomping along through the high grasses, orange indian paints and buttercups around his waist. Fred saw me, smiled and waved. Luke had his face lifted to the sunshine and was flapping his arms gently in the breeze, flying through the wild flowers.
