ljgeoffIt's amazing what eight hours of sleep and a shower will do to a person. Well, probably not so amazing, but I feel like it's amazing. I woke up this morning to an interior chorus singing "Find the Fisher King!" to the tune of "12 Days of Christmas" (4 calling birds, 3 french hens, 2 turtle doves...find the Fisher King, find the fisher king! ... I can still hear it) "Yeah, yeah... " I muttered. Len called last night to say he'd read it all so far (the question about flooded rooms and water pressure hooked him) and he couldn't wait to see who that Roy guy was and what was going on. I didn't tell him that the line formed to the left. Now I'm thinking that perhaps I should have some kind of disclaimer on the homepage This isn't the story with the linear plot and story-driven characters that you are looking for...
I got to the shop this morning and didn't brew decaf. I haven't sold a single cup of decaf in over a week. So of course, the first customers, the very first, wanted two small decaf... I panicked and gave them weak regular, and sent an apology to their spirits. Way to start the day with negative karma!
