Well, the sign guy reports that the company that he outsourced my big sign to made the wrong kind of sign; he says that it looks great but it's a vinyl with adhesive back, meant to be mounted on some kind of board. What I need is the big plastic covers for the florescent sign out front. But since the graphic is done, he's hoping it'll just take another week. Or two. Ish.

Sales are slowly edging upwards, with the third week in July up about 5% from the first week in July. If we can make it through the summer, we'll be good. Business will pick up in the fall when the students and teachers come back.

There are worse things in the world than sitting in your own coffee shop, making the occasional drink, and writing. But I'm looking forward to getting paid. That would be nice.
