I've exchanged a couple of emails with a very nice .... (wait for it...) Doctor of Physics!

*huge grin*

And he teaches astronomy. And he's married with small children (girls!) And he's 12 years younger than me... Ah, well. Of course, he lives in California. Still, *physics*, astrophysics, even. *sigh*

I'm going to try wooing him. I've never wooed anyone before. Does anyone have woo-hints?

No woo-hints, I suck at it myself. But consider the risk of offending him, if he's deeply into the monogamy thing. If that's the case, he could see your flirting with a known married man as a dig at his marriage.

If you can keep the woo at an academic geeky isn't nature wonderful kind of level, more power to you. Don't try to find out if he's poly unless he drops some kind of hint. If there are other famous physics perverts out there to reference, it might help.

*splort!* OMG, I love you to pieces!

I found him on okcupid, and my profile mentions that I'm poly. I think that his says that he's looking for friends, which is cool.

And, dude, you wooed me. Though Mike says I'm *way* easy. (or did we just woo each other?)

*snort*!

That was more like spontaneous combustion!

Shoot, if he's on adequate valentine, then he's fair game, go wild! I couldn't tell it was an OKCupid woo you were talking about.

(I'm still not sure how I feel having a machine that will flirt on my behalf. It seems kind of wrong somehow.)

no, I wasn't going for the machine woo. I agree, that's kinda creepy. Right now, I'm feeling him out on string theory. We'll see where it goes from there...

can you tell me more about him? I think I can come up with a very accurate (suggested, of course)wooing strategy if you send me some more details ;-)

somehow, though... I don't think the Lisa likes lengthy strategies...

well, the whole 'lives on the other side of the continent' lends itself to lengthy wooing.

Accurate wooing strategies, hmm? Oooh.... 3-d line charts!
