not a recession-proof business
Oct. 16th, 2008 11:31 amI've been quiet about the shop lately because I've been worried, but perhaps things are looking up.
Since we started in June, sales have been climbing steadily from $550/wk, then $650/wk... slowly climbing up to $750/wk, $850/wk, and then fluctuating between $850-$950/wk through the month of September.
But starting on Oct 5th, and going on through Oct 12, sales crashed back down to below $500/wk. They've slowly started edging up, and I'm hoping we'll see $700 this week.
It's been nerve wracking and disheartening. And then, too, I'm mid-semester, which always drags me down.
We've had a beautiful autumn, though, and other than the stuff with Kyle, everything on the home-front has been stable.
Here's hopin'!
