Dec. 5th, 2004 11:55 amI got up at 9am, put on some coffee and began to write. Luke was up by 9:30, Sam and his friend Chad up by 10. Carl came home from Tom's house at 10:30. I washed up dishes that I was too lazy to do last night, made french toast (Carl's second breakfast), and between all of that, wrote about 350 words:
“Vesa?” the name hissed between his teeth. “Vesa?” He coughed on his dry throat and then said loudly, “Vesa, if you can hear me, I sure could use some help.”
“Do you talk to your Gods?” Lewis carefully craned his neck up to see Nanaboozhoo standing over him.
“No, I… Vesa is a man. I don’t have any Gods.”
“Huh.” Nanaboozhoo let his eyes travel over the Medicine Wheel, and Lewis’ spread-eagle body. “Maybe you should get some.”
Now I am going to spend the afternoon straightening my house. Tonight we game.
