We had a dump of snow yesterday - about 18-20 inches, I'd guess. Schools were closed but I worked and then went off to sell my plasma. I have today off.

I woke up at 7a to drive the kids to school. Carl had a presentation, and a big poster to carry. First we pushed Jake's car out of the snow. The van made it out fine. I've gotta go scoop the rest of the drive out, today. Later.

When I got home, I warmed up some coffee and started to write. I'm past the dreamcatcher scene - Damn, it's good, too. I like it. Now, into the Land of the Lady, Superior.

I wrote about 350 words this morning in two and a half hours. I write a sentence or two, or maybe a paragraph, and then I pace around. I might get another cup of coffee or a piece of toast. I write another sentence or two, and go check something on google. I pace around, thinking, trying to see it, to feel it. It is not an effortless process for me.

Luke is up now, and requesting ice cream for breakfast.
