Kindof a rough day, today. Woke up to a couple hours of chores, then went to work.

Before work, Jake asked me if I'd talk to his girlfriend's mother. Katrina is his girlfriend, and I think that she really wants to break up with him. Katrina's mother has put a stop to the relationship; she's not letting Katrina see Jake anymore. I think that the girl is in agreement - I think that she doesn't want to see Jake anymore. Jake wanted me to talk to the Mom, see if I could soften her up. I did talk to the Mom, and and in the end, agreed that it's not a bad idea for them to cool it, too. I'm going to get him into counseling. This is his first serious relationship, and he's very controlling, almost bullying. My dad thinks that it's from taking body-building enhancers. Jake was taking something last year that we found out was synthetic testosterone, and we had him stop it right away.

I feel bad for Jake. He's really hurting. I _really_ would rather not live through teenaged heartbreak and angst, again. Really.
