EN211 - Narrative and descriptive Writing: Reading and writing assignments investigating perception, the ordering of experiences and insights and methods of expression. This will be a 4-hour class every Friday. The class will take a nature hike and write in situ.
HN415 - Human Nutrition- Obesity and Weight Management: Study of current theories surrounding the causes of and control of obesity. Students will apply their understanding of the fundamentals of human nutrition and exercise to construct programs containing sound principles of weight management and total fitness.
HS256 - History- Approaching China: Historical introduction to the distinctive cultural integration of pre-revolutionary China, approached comparatively as an original style of thinking, feeling and organizing life.
PY436 Psychology- The Psychology of Organizational Behavior: A focus on empirically researched areas of organizational behavior, including performance management, leader behavior, organizational environments, feedback, etc., and on implementing programmatic changes through the use of researched psychological techniques(1). Field and laboratory investigations included when appropriate.
1- my italics, 'cause it occurred to me that they're gonna teach me how to play with people's heads. Hmm. All my other psych stuff has been "this is how we think it works, and why".
