eight reasons to be cheerful

boxofdelights kinda tagged me to name eight things that are making me happy right now.

1) Steve and Shadowcat are racing around. Shadowcat is letting Steve hide and pounce on her -- he is so earnest and fierce looking, but he plays very gently.

2) I woke up feeling like doing the laundry. Yea for clean underwear!

3) Everyone is sleeping except me. I'm curled up on the couch with a cup of coffee and my NMU-issued laptop. This is my favorite time of the day.

4) I even surprised myself with how well I did last semester. I have decided to wait to get the Psych BS (because nmu won't let me get it concurrently with my BSN) and just concentrate on the nursing stuff. This will make life easier.

5) Mike is home, and we are doing very well with each other. He is so sweet to me. I am becoming more ok with stuff that I know aren't going to change. It's a decision thing, eh?

6) Like most parents, I love my boys, but I also really like them. They're funny and smart and sweet. "Grow your own friend" indeed!

7) I was gifted unexpected money from my sister, and will catch up with a bill that's been late the last couple of months. A big relief!

8) Brenda called and she is coming to get her dog on Saturday. Hopefully it will be *this* Saturday, but if it isn't, Geriann will take the little stinker for a while.
