Jan. 9th, 2018 09:09 amWe've all been sick with a really bad cold that starts with an itchy throat and stuffy nose, and moves into the chest with fever and a hacking cough along with nausea and vomiting for the boys who sniffle instead of blowing their noses.
I was the last one to get it. I had picked up a shift yesterday, and of course that was my worst day. I made it through, but woke up with a fever and a bonus migraine at about 1am. So I took an imatrex, a couple of tylenol and a long, hot shower. I slept solidly until 6am and woke up soaked in sweat. Bleh. Even the bed was soaked.
I feel a lot better today. Mike had to call in last Friday, but he's feeling better. The kids missed school yesterday, but they're ok today.
Chris never really did get sick -- just a bit of a runny nose last week. We were really careful and, honestly, he doesn't get kissed like the other family members do, so maybe that's it.
