We are a species that catagorizes
Dec. 12th, 2004 03:22 pmSo that when I found the small, black ovoid object under my bench, I had to figure out what it was; into the toy box or the trash? It was a football shaped black thing, about the size of the end of my pinky-finger. Hmm. I looked at it for about 5 seconds before, in one of those lovely "A-ha!" moments, I realized that it was a black jelly bean with all of the shininess worn away.
I am cleaning my house. I've pulled all of the clutter in the library from under the bench and all the corners, and now it's all sitting in the middle of the room, to be delt with. About 2 cubic yards of papers, toys, SCA boffing gear, old magazines, various electronic bits and pieces. The kids are at my mom's, decorating Christmas cookies and Mike is running errands. Just me and my ...stuff.
If I'm not back in three hours, send out a recon party.
