What is it about essays (and cover letters! don't even get me started on those) that kick our ass? I think it's that "real" thing. At least, for me it is. I feel like I can't add a bunch of fictiony bullshit to distract the reader from the fact that I have no idea what to say next. I just wrote an essay this week and am now kinda regretting it. But it's done.
This one is kinda personal. I keep saying "That's it! I'm not going to think about this any more." And then, ya know, think about it so much that I hafta write an essay.
