rejection!

Boy, that's a damn good turn-around time -- eleven days! Just got my rejection from F & SF:

Thank you for submitting "Oh My Heart, Oh My Soul," but I'm going to pass on it. This tale didn't grab my interest, I'm afraid. Good luck to you with this one, and thanks again for sending it our way.

I've gotten "didn't grab my interest" from them also. Kind of a lame phrase for a form letter rejection, but there you go.

Sorry to hear that. I got a rejection from them, too, only I can't find it! When/If I come across it again, I'll check to see if i can "third" the *didn't catch my interest* line.

eh. At least it was a fast turn around, yeah? They wrote you back--didn't have to. I've always been told that that's better than the straight up ignoring of a submission.
