I'm in the process of thinking a story out, and I thought that it might be interesting to blog how I get from point A to B. Perhaps even post as-I-write-it. But, while it's fascinating to me, I'm not sure if anyone else would give a flying fig. towersofgrey wrote a great post explaining his process. Of course, my process is different. Using the same cooking analogy, I look in the cupboard and get an idea of what I want to make. Then I gather all of my ingredients and picture how they're all going to go together. This is real important to me; I can't start chopping the onions until I know what pan I'm gonna be using to saute them in, and how can you start chopping onions when you haven't figured out what size onions you're gonna need to end up with?

So, anyway, I'll friendlock the posts, and put it all under a cut 'cause they'll probably be long. I'll tag them all as "writing process" if anyone wants to read the thing from start to finish. There. That should make it easy to skip if folks wanna, or easy to find, too.

I'm probably more interested in process than in the finished product, which isn't likely to lead to a very productive style, I guess...
