bad night --> odd day

ljgeoffGot a migraine at work last night and went home early. It was an exceptionally bad night, exhausted but couldn't sleep, really bad reflux, so out of it that I couldn't take care of myself, which is me at my worst. Couldn't think, just lay there, miserable. I've got today off, and have spent most of the day sleeping or sleepy.
Mike was home, and he let me sleep in 'till after noon. Then we went over to campus and I did some administrative stuff. I won't know about nursing school until late May. I told him that I was going to Wiscon and he sighed and rolled his eyes (it's a money thing) and then he said he'd try to work out coming along to Comicon.
I am sometimes amazed how this very normal guy loves me. Sometimes I see him, amazed that I love him. It is breathtaking.
He needed to go check something out at the library, and I put the seat back and laid down in the car. I went into a kind of dreamy mostly-asleep, and dreamed a chapter that I need to add to Lewis Door.
My face is still all buzzy from the migraine. Mike left about 2 hrs ago, so he should be somewhere along US 2 by now.
We were talking about making a Dipietro motor as a generator and using the pressurized air as a battery, but he thinks that it'd be way too inefficient. I dunno what he considers "too" inefficient. We can put up a ton of cheap, low carbon foot print windmills (like a farmhouse pump windmill) whose main job will be compressing air. Maybe a lot of elbow-grease for startup, but very low tech and easy maintenance. And the generator would be whisper-quiet.
