surgery is a go

I spent the day with Mike in Ann Arbor, where he and David had their last appointments before the transplant surgery. We are all being very cool about it, saying things like "Well, everything will most likely be fine but people die from anesthesia all the time."

The surgery is scheduled for Wednesday next, February 8. Oh, and for those who are curious, Mike is giving his left kidney to his son, David, who is in kidney failure.
