Jan. 30th, 2005 12:25 pmThings to do today: Laundry and dishes (yesterday Laura came over and helped me clean out the front closet, yea!), make a cake for Laura (blueberry pound cake with lemon glaze - using my new rubber-like flower-shaped cake mould, take the boys to snowboarding, put boys to bed (we're reading Mary Stewert's _The Hollow Hill_), and then to bed myself. Pray I can sleep tonight.
I'm trying to decide what to do with the vehicles that Mike left me. The three Festivas will be chopped for parts, but I've got two Caravans that don't run for various reasons - one that needs a transmission in (we've already bought the transmission, and between Cory and I, I think that we can get it in), and one that has a broken windshield and a transmission that'll probably last another six months. I'm thinking that we'll fix the one in the garage, and sell the other whole or chopped. Then sell off Laura's and give her the fixed one. Hmmm.
Cory has decided to separate from his wife Pam, and good ridance to her, I think. We've voted him as a housemate, when we get the building. If the getting is slow, he'll move in here for a while. Note to self: hands off! Friends, friends, friends!
I called Mike last night, and he talked to all of the boys. They're just beginning to miss him. He sounded tired. He leaves for Texas on Monday.
