We're really getting along on the bathroom remodel. Last night, Len discovered that the square niche in my library is where a chimney goes up, and could he expose the brick, 'cause that would look real cool? So now I have a door that goes into the bathroom from the library, instead of the kitchen, and an exposed brick chimney. I think that it'll look very nice. The bathroom is gutted, and the plumbing is half finished. After the plumbing, we'll concentrate on the lighting and then the duroc underlayment. But first, we have to haul all of the scrap and plaster away.

Mike called yesterday from Ft. Bliss. He says that they'll be there 'till the end of March. Nothing other than rumors of where they'll go after training. He was in very good spirits because he'd just purchased his laptop. I forgot to ask him what he got!
