I hate throwing things away

but this morning, I threw away about 50 socks; mostly non-paired, but some just holely, or the elastic all worn out. Next, I plan to go through my clothes, and then Mike's. Then on to the kids'. I shall be ruthless. If we don't wear it - out it goes. Either out to the trash or to St. Vinnies'. I have piles, and under the piles, boxes. Stupid, useless clutter - well, not completely useless. Hopefully my outgrown, unwanted stuff will clothe someone who needs a used but decent pair of jeans.

No one is making me do this, and it's very hard to stay motivated. Bleh.

I love getting rid of stuff!

My motivation is that the clutter makes me nervous.

Come live with me for two weeks! It will be great fun - You could help me get rid of stuff, and I could feed you pasties and cudhigis. My house is big and rambly, with legos sabotaging the floor and big dustbunnies of cat hair in the corners. Yesterday, it was 5 (F) when I drove the boys to school. Frost had made the bare hardwoods all lacey, and the pines and firs looked black. We don't have parks, just miles and miles of frozen forest and frozen shore. At night, the stars blaze like fire. Come!
