Thank you so much for submitting. I would love to take "Written in the Book of the Woods" for Reckoning, if it's still available and you're still interested. I have to confess it made me cry a little. It is very much the kind of thing I want to publish, weird and deep and affecting.

Send something brief and if they want more they can ask. "Lisa Geoffrion is a nurse who lives in $place and spends a lot of time with her grandchildren" or "Lisa has always wanted to be somebody, and now she is." (That's one factual draft and one silly.) If it turns out they want something like "this is her nth published story, and her favorite books are x, y, and z" they'll say so.
