ljgeoffMy feet need some kind of Miracle Max cure; they feel like lumps of wood.
Since Feb 9th, I've put in about 165 work hours. I am officially Too Old For This Shit. Especially floor nursing, which is 12 hours of standing, pacing up and down halls, helping to lift patients, and being puked on. *sniffs* I had a shower but I swear I still smell like puke.
I had some really nice moments and no really bad moments, so it's just the hours that I'm complaining about. I had one nonagenarian blink sleepily at me and say "Oh, you're the kind one" and the midnight nurse say that the unit is so much calmer when she follows me -- it's wonderful to hear good things.
