Kitchen remodel

Next year, or the year after, I'm going to remodel my kitchen. All new cabinetry and counter tops, new flooring, new windows, take down a wall, resize a window, move a door. It's gonna be a total gut job.

We're going to do a lot of the work ourselves, maybe with a couple of hired guys for the heavy lifting, and definitely a sheet rock guy to do the walls.

So I have a year to plan a dream kitchen. Wanna help?

The kitchen will have a small pantry, 36"x 44" (92 cm x 112 cm). I'm thinking that I'll have some kind of double, pull out shelving. Maybe something on wheels that would pull out or fold out? I dunno.

I want a garbage and recycling area, so that everything is contained. I also want a pet feeding station, with storage for the 20-30 lb food bags.

I want an island, and I'm thinking I'll have the gas stove there, with maybe a small prep sink and place to chop things.

I want to get the cook books, microwave and mixer off the counter top.

Speaking of counter tops, I want quartz counter tops, colors are gonna be honey yellow, white and light brown, with maybe a leaf green accent.
