"Hi Lisa, we had another offer that did not involve a land contract and have accepted it last week. I thought I should let you know about this immediately. I'm sorry it did not work out."
And the next day this happened:
"I am requesting readmission in the nursing program. I received my LPN from LCC in the spring of 2016 and have been working as an LPN since July of 2016. Just before starting starting my second year in the nursing program, I tore the meniscus in my knee and had to go on crutches for six weeks. I was in the accelerated program and had to step out because of the injury. In September of 2017, I went back into the program but because of problems I was having at home, I wasn't really able to concentrate on my studies and was not doing well; I stepped out in mid-way through final semester. I now feel that I have the time, money, and head-space to complete the program. Also, my I believe that my experience working as a nurse will really help me to retain the study materials.
I've completed three semesters; I just need to complete my last semester.

And the next day, *this* happened!
Whuh! You know, it's hard to brush my hair for work when my head is spinning like this.
