ljgeoffToday is Sunday, and I'm in Lansing doing housework and sorting of stuff. I'll be doing the same thing on Monday. Monday night I head back to Wyandotte to work Tues-Thurs. But on Tuesday, Carl, Crystalyn and their three youngest (the twins Drake and Lucy, and Carli) will be at the Lansing house because Carl has an interview for a supervisor's position at the Lansing waste water treatment plant. I'll miss them, but the October Birthday Bash is in two weeks, so that's ok.
I got a call from an old friend, Pete from Minneapolis, asking if he could crash with us while he and a buddy go to a couple of Twins/Tigers games in Detroit. They'll be in Lansing sometime Tuesday night/Wednesday morning. Then they'll go to a night game Wednesday night, stay in Wyandotte, and go to an afternoon game on Thursday. They may stay again Thursday night, or they may head back to Minneapolis. It'll be cool to see Pete - I haven't seen him since I spent that fall in South Dakota, going to nursing school and digging my Big Hole -- so, seven years? Yeah.
