The bedroom is mostly emptied and the carpet and padding is pulled up. Next is to wash the walls, baseboards, and trim, and patch the two big holes where the plaster has fallen off the lath. The flooring that is cheapest and easiest to clean is sheet vynal, so I think we'll do that with a couple of throw rugs for comfort.
The plan is to start moving stuff back in tomorrow.
-- basement is clean and organized. This was the biggest job.
-- new playroom is patched and ready to paint
-- master bedroom is being patched and scrubbed tonight
-- boys' room is completely gutted and awaiting the electricians
-- still need new ceiling tiles in the kitchen
-- still need to finish patching the living room ceiling
-- still need to paint the living room, playroom, and dining room
But the biggest "still need" is to sheetrock, tape, mud, sand, prime and paint the boys room. Vynal flooring and rugs there, too.
