ljgeoffOne week later, and I'm still sick. Haven't been this sick in a while. At least the kids didn't get it concurrently. Luke said, day before yesterday, that he had a sore throat, but nothing more from him yet.

rivka and her family on the east coast, me in the upper midwest, and kightp on the west coast -- the symptoms sound the same.
Today, we're having a party for Luke at McDonald's, and then we bring in the tree and decorate it tonight. At least I'm functional, if tired and snotty...

Date: 2005-12-18 06:02 pm (UTC)But, no, I think all that's sweeping the country is good old cold-and-flu season, same as every year. And as always, I find the old wisdom - treat a cold and it will last for a week, leave it alone and it will last seven days - holds true.
I'm starting to get my strength back, and I seem to be able to breathe through my nose today. I hope you mend soon, too.
