A mixed bag

ljgeoffVery cold today and clear, today. I don't think that it got above 10deg F. Yesterday's storm left us with about 2 ft. of snow. I guess that winter is really here to stay. Compared to when I was a teenager, the winters of the last five years have been exceptionally mild. I remember that this time, last year, it was raining.
I've got a good start on chapter seven. I posted my prologue last week on the writer's page, and got some good feedback. Overall, I feel good about how it's going, but concerned that I have no idea how it will end.
Mike talked to Cheryl for a long time (3 hrs) last night. I found out that she never got my letter, because she's got her email screening set to receive mail only for folks on her white list, and I ain't one of 'em. Not purposefull, I think. I doubt she ever considered that I would want to send her mail. She took a look at the poly sites that Mike emailed her, and said that they were "a load of crap". Mike asked her, if she starts seeing someone else, when, at what point in the other relationship, is she gonna dump him? and she said that she hadn't thought about it.
I asked Mike to forward my letter to her, and he didn't understand why I wanted him to, because he had talked with Cheryl about what was in it. I want to be made real; not the unwanted, complicated, phantom wife of her lover. Visions of Jane Eyre.
