ljgeoffLen and I got back from our trip to the Twin Cities late last night. It was snowing almost all the way back, so the drive that would normally take 6 1/7 to 7 hours took 8 1/2, and I was pretty wiped out when I got in.
But it was a darn fine trip; the sculpture garden, the Minnesota Museum of Science, and a night at the Covington B & B -- all lovely.
As an added bonus, I actually accomplished the main mission of the trip, which was to get Jake into a high school. He'll be attending Burnsville H.S., and hopefully will follow through and graduate. He has an appointment with the guidance counselor this friday to pick out classes and get everything set up.
And I have an appointment today at 1pm to talk to the premed adviser at NMU. Whew!
