Louise Erdrich just came out with a new book, too! The Sentence. OK, it comes out next week, but it's on my TBR list.

Of your list, I've read only the Erdrich that you just finished. It seems like a pretty good list, though.

I had trouble with Future Home -- it was so unrelentingly sorrowful. If The Round House isn't too much for my psyche, I will try more Erdich.

Ohh, Machine is GOOD! Loved it!

I also recommend 'A Memory Called Empire' by by Arkady Martine (and the sequel 'A Desolation Called Peace'). Originally recced by kaffy_r - it is so, SO good! :D
