ljgeoffTalked to Mike on the phone last night and told him about getting arrested. He was quiet for a beat, then said "Anything else?"
"Nope, that's about it."
Sigh. "Ok," he said. And then we moved on. Poor fella, though.
He's gonna stay for a few extra days to get his back injury documented. I'm expecting that he'll be home sometime next week.
We spent most of the time talking about his girlfriend Joyce -- she's confusing him, and he wanted advice. I don't know her, so I'm not sure how much I helped; mostly just let him vent some. After work, my co-worker Diana gave me a ride home. We stopped on the way and I dropped some card stock off at Len's shop. Len heard us poking around and came down, so I got a quick kiss and hug, and Diana got a 2-minute tour of the shop.
After getting the kids off to school this morning,I did some ten loads of laundry at the laundromat - it'll be great when Mike comes and fixes the dryer. Luke will be home in about 30 min, and then I'm going out to get a couple groceries for supper, and then off to work.
