I got this site from Serene serenejournal. It's kinda cool and kinda creepy. I can see my house. There's no car parked out front, and I wonder when the pics were taken.
The site is a simpler, more user-friendly front-end for Terraserver, which houses US Geological Survey satellite images and topographic maps.
But if you search for your address (or latitude/longitude), on Terraserver it tells you when the photos were taken. They go back a ways - my neighborhood aerial shot is from 1997, for instance, and the topo map is from 1978.
