I just got called from work to see if I'd pick up a couple of extra shifts. We need the money, so, yeah, but the week is packed, and it's gonna be a stretch to get everything done. We're leaving early Friday morning - dropping me off in Madison for Wiscon, and then the guys going on to Minnesota for Ages of War.

So much to do --



I've got to get a shirt made for Mike - that will mostly be finished tonight, and then go over the boys' gear. If we can't get them some helms made in time, they won't be able to boff.

Then there's the van. We're pulling the engine and transmission out of the old van, buying a "new" van from the junkyard, and pulling the engine out of that and putting the engine and transmission from the old van in the new van.

I just don't know if Mike can get the van done in the three remaining days left. I'll be going to the con, either way, but I hope that the boys and Mike and Len will be able to go to the SCA event.

Len isn't particularly enthusiastic about the event. I do hope that he goes, so that Mike has another adult to hang around with. I wish that Ruby and Lucas were going, too, but they don't have the registration money. I wish that Len would help us get ready, but he really doesn't have the interest in that, either.

ah, well, one thing at a time. Here's my list:

--garb for Mike, Carl, Sam and Luke

--boffer gear for Carl and Sam

--Food purchased and sorted for event

--camping and cooking gear packed

--pack up garb, armor, and boffing gear

--pack my clothes for con

--make goodies for the Tiptree Bakesale

I know I'm forgetting something....
