ljgeoffYesterday afternoon, I was washing pots and pans in the kitchen sink and Mike decided to fix the broken electrical socket by the coffee pot.
He muttered curses at whoever wired the socket, rummaging in his plastic tub of parts. The radio on the window sill was playing the local pop station, and someone called in and requested Billy Joel's _Piano Man_.
Mike loves Billy Joel. He reached over and turned the volume up and the song filled the kitchen. With a content sigh, he went back to working on the socket, singing along. But he couldn't restrain himself. He came, took me in his arms, and waltzed me around the kitchen, singing off-key in my ear and nibbling at my neck. I chuckled and leaned into him, dripping dishwater across his shoulders.
"Sing us a song, you're th' piano man, sing us a song tonight!"
