a very good 24 hrs
Apr. 26th, 2007 01:07 pmI had a great walk along the lake yesterday afternoon and then went to monitor the art gallery. I had a great conversation with
turbo_swami right before closing up. Hmmm, and Hmmmm; he makes me think and I am still thinking. Then I went home and dished up the supper from the crock pot that I had (yea me!) prepared that morning. Lovely -- potatoes and pork roast, with garlic and rosemary (not fresh, alas) and ground pepper. mmmm.
Then off to study for a couple of hours, and at about 8:30pm, off to Len's to see _Kill Bill 2_. It went very well. A great decrease in drama on my part. Len was lovely and I left feeling just a little sad but mostly good.
I got to bed before midnight, fell asleep right away and all through the night. I had a good breakfast of long-cooking oats with dried fruit and I remembered to pack myself some almonds for mid-morning. I didn't drink coffee (green tea, instead), I didn't get a stomach ache, and I didn't get distracted and shaky before lunch.
I thought that Mike was coming home tomorrow, but he's coming home tonight!
I just had a great lunch, and now I'm going out for my walk - toward downtown today, I think.
