ljgeoff8:15 am and I got the boys off to school, took Luke up to Burger King for french toast sticks 'cause we were out of milk (8:30), and then headed to the grocery store to buy milk(8:45). And we needed fruit, and lunchmeat and bread, and something for supper tonight.... Half and hour and $150 later, I looked at the clock over the door and it was 9:30. Then I realized that it was Tuesday instead of Monday. Mondays and Wednesdays I don't have lecture until 12:30, but on Tuesdays and Thursdays, I have lab at 10:00 am, and the most wonderful Dr. Winn starts his labs promptly and with a quiz.

Fortunately for me, he is wonderful and understanding. I breezed into lab at 10:10, aced my quiz, and had a wonderful lab digesting fats, starches and proteins with various things like bile salts, pepsin, amylase, and pancreatin.
During lab, I realized that I'd left my backpack up at the Burger King in Ishpeming. So after lab, I went to go get it. I read my email and saw that I had to return my laptop. Rats! I wasted a bunch of time emailing files to myself, and then realized that Len could help me burn everything onto a disk. So off to Len's, and that accomplished, over to home. Checked the mail and saw that my taxes had come in.
Hot Damn! Everything else went out of my head as I launched into a flurry of ecstatic bill paying. I just realized, as I wrote this, that I forgot to print off the quiz that I was supposed to get to Dr. Winn. Here's hoping that he'll accept it late.
I also just realized that I forgot my Native American books at home, and I was going to read the assigned reading *right now*. This is not a good start; I've gotta pull my self together and get organized.
My thoughts are full of Wiscon and Lewis Door and Joe (Joe!), and having money and paying bills... Tomorrow is my first physiology exam, and I think that I will do very well.
