ljgeoffI talked to the store manager today about applying for a promotion to assistant manager. The earliest it'll happen is June. Mike also talked to some suppervisors at Nat'l Guards. He's decided to transfer units. He can't get a promotion until he gets MOSQ, and the earliest his unit would be able to get him MOSQ is 13 months. So he's looking to transfer to the Grayling Unit.
Mike is okay with picking up a part-time job, and I've put his name in at Wal-mart; they're hiring for the Tire Lube Express and for the Lawn and Garden Dept.
It's also possible that he'll get to go to Nat'l Guard school this summer if he does transfer to the Graling unit. If he transfers, he'd be able to keep his current MOSQ, which is repair of the electronics in tanks, called Fire Control, or 45 Gulf.
So, anyway, I'm feeling a little less stressed about money. The situation hasn't improved, but it's moving in that direction.
And I got the rest of chapter seven plotted out. Now I just have to write it.
