not sicker
Jan. 6th, 2008 07:16 pmFeeling better today. But despite all of my efforts, my little old people are getting sick. Talk about feeling guilty!
I know that I've mentioned my classes this semester, but I have to crow about them and my schedule again. I just had to finish up my liberal studies divisional requirements this semester. That took up 8 credits. So I took some fun stuff for my other 8 credits:
To fill my requirements --
Intro to Theater
Food and Culture
Pharmacology
For Fun --
Blacksmithing
Basic Electricity
Wiring
And my schedule is sweet! Everything is on Mondays and Wednesdays -- so I will have work days and school days, but no days with both. I like that. And I will be home three nights a week to make supper for the boys, compared to one night a week last semester. *sigh* I'm very, very pleased.
Oh! And I am able to expunge a class that I took in 1989 (Finite Math, C-...um, new divorce, new baby, new lover, not ready for school), so my grade point will go from 3.05 to 3.12, a small amount, I know, but enough of a difference to push me into the comfort zone for nursing school.
I will also schedule time to write every day. I have two works in progress: a second Lewis Door and an epic fantasy, Yellow Hand (or Sedlik's Gift). Hey, readers, what say you about the epic thingy? Should I keep at it, or is it stink-o?
And, speaking of potential stink-o-ness, it has been exactly 12 weeks since Lewis Door was booted out; I should hear something within 4 - 12 weeks.
