Our second snow day of the year. And Mike is home, too, so we are cuddled up in bed with our laptops (Mike is playing Heros III). I'm considering some writing -- did some work last night on the sea monster attack. I'm not as good at action stuff. I just realized last night that the reason it's not so good is that I rush it. I read one paragraph three times to Mike last night, and each time he pursed his lips and said "Better, but not good enough yet".
My son Jake is driving from Minneapolis today! I'm scheduled to work 7-12mid at NMU, but I don't know yet if the art dept will be open tonight.

Yep. This is me, too. Hmm. I like the idea of saving copies of a problem paragraph, and then comparing the edits. I know that I'd get a lot out of seeing something like that from another writer. Very cool.
Are you interested in chapter 3?
