Mar. 15th, 2008 07:16 amWe're getting ready to head down to Appleton, for the Mario Brawl Tournament. Mike is also traveling -- he's flying from Germany today with his National Guard Unit.
Our new dog, Nahvi, is starting to relax and feel comfortable with us. The boys say that her name is spelled Navi, and that she's named after "a little annoying fairy from The Legend of Zelda. She's a pretty thing - a Chesapeake Bay Retriever, and about seven months old. I just took a box of q-tips from her. Where'd that come from? Must be the ones that the cats have been playing with.

Date: 2008-03-16 10:25 am (UTC)They are sooooooooooo very cute! The Danish Ambassador here in the Netherlands had one, long time ago. And on my way home from work I passed his house every day around the same time and I saw her grew up from a tiny pup to a lovely fullgrown dog. She was adorable!
(hehe... looks like I'm showing off with 'friends in high places', but really... even ambassadors have to live somewhere and they are real people too. I'd never get to know them without this dog)
