pipes

Yesterday, after work, Laura gave me a ride to the hardware store and I picked up two new valves, to replace the bad ones in the basement. I replaced the cold water valve, turned it on, and found that there were two more broken pipes behing the washing machine. Whoever ran the pipe down there musta been on crack. So I cut and patched and now I can do the laundry. It took me about 2 1/2 hours, and one of the patches still has a very little drippy leak. There's about 15 feet of pipe that just kindof goes in a circle and dead ends. This weekend, I'll probably just cut it all out.

I'm supposed to work at 3:15 this afternoon, but I don't have any way to get there. The bus only comes once an hour, at 20 to the hour, and Carl doesn't get home from school 'till 2:45 - he'll watch Luke. Hmm, maybe I can get Cory to come over for half an hour.

Kickmoon LLC has an appointment with the project manager of Main Street, the Ishpeming development manager on Thurs, next week.
